WASL partner Mira Kusmarini, executive director and founder of C-Save (Indonesian Civil-Society Against Violent Extremism) will be speaking at the event “Ensuring the Rights of Children of Foreign Terrorist Fighters” hosted by the Government of Belgium and the UN Counter-Terrorism Centre.  Mira will participate in a discussion on improving the lives and ensuring the protection of the children of foreign terrorist fighters.

WASL partner, Wazhma Frogh, member of the Afghanistan High Peace Council and founder of the Women and Peace Studies Organization  (WPSO), will speak at “The Security Council and Women, Peace and Security: Fostering Practical Action.”  Hosted by the governments of Germany, Spain, and Namibia, and the UN Women, Wazhma will give her perspective on how the Security Council can better include the WPS agenda in its decisions and resulting actions.
