The International Civil Society Action Network (ICAN) and the Women’s Alliance for Security Leadership (WASL) Statement: The Escalating U.S.-Israeli War on Iran and its Regional Ramifications
The Peace Track Initiative (PTI) is an organization based in Yemen that works to localize the peace process by promoting women’s inclusion and enhancing feminist knowledge leadership in Yemen, as well as in the Middle East and North Africa.
The organization also focuses its efforts on providing protection to women and vulnerable groups by documenting rights abuses, providing protection grants to women peacebuilders and women human rights defenders, and engaging with international human rights mechanisms.
PTI hosts the Women’s Solidarity Network, which consists of more than 270 women members and feminist organizations and supports women’s rights in the draft constitution. It also developed a Feminist Roadmap for Peace, which is a comprehensive plan developed by Yemeni women to move towards a future of inclusive peace, justice, and human security in Yemen.
ICAN’s Innovative Peace Fund has supported PTI since 2018.
